Unlike any other detail that I have seen Raf Simon's has
cleverly detailed his shoe for fall 2011 to be worn only
with the collections' stirrup pants which slot neatly into the
brass opening you can see within the wedge. Good thinking

For the graphic element of the fall 2011 collection, Raf
Simon's is inspired by skiwear where he transforms his
simple and restrained knitwear by prosthetically
attaching a second skin or more obviously a hood- a
unique detail which draws much attention to itself upon
viewing show.

As I look through all the fall collections coming together from
new york, london and milan it appears more and more the
reoccuring theme is colour; bright and bold and who else to
master those bold colours than Raf Simons. Following a
vibrant spring collection and also menswear fall collection
Raf delivers a wholesome collection filled with graphics
and constructivist forms and volume to be likened to the
works of cristobal balenciaga.

The jil sander bag is always simple and understated. It is 
not very often do you see colour, which is what I love about
these bags- bright with plenty of little hints of contrast. The range
of clutch purses are a necessity!!
