best of raf simons for jil sander fall 2011 details times three

images courtesy of http://www.style.com/ and http://www.gorunway.com/
For the graphic element of the fall 2011 collection, Raf
Simon's is inspired by skiwear where he transforms his
simple and restrained knitwear by prosthetically
attaching a second skin or more obviously a hood- a
unique detail which draws much attention to itself upon
viewing show.

best of proenza schouler fall 2011 collection times three

images courtesy of gorunway and http://www.vogue.com.au/

Proenza Schouler's Jack and Larry have left me speechless
with this collection- it is a progressive approach that demonstrates
their sheer talent and extrodinary attention to detail. The craftsmanship
alone is worthy of much praise, the woven details of the pants represent
a quality uncomparable. Yes I know I am giving them much praise but it
is well due. The collection explores aztec prints but with a contemporary
approach using digital prints to manipulate them. The colours are
incredibly relevant to the aztec theme and are exquistely blocked and
matched. This is guranteed to be my favourite collection for Fall 2011.

best of pringle of scotland's pre-fall 2011 collection times three

How can anyone resist pringle's luxurious cashmere
particularly when it is inspired by the 60's, from
structured a-line skirts and tunics to soft funnel neck
knits all a staple in any woman's wardrobe. Beige
never looked so good.

best of karl lagerfield for chanel pre-fall 2011 collection times three

where does one start with this extrodinary collection,
hang onto your purses ladies this is going to be a
bumpy ride! Lagerfield has evolved the spring/summer
colour palette from the monochromatic and metallic into
deep hues with exotic byzantine embelishments. A
unique collection for chanel especially considering I can
find numerous pieces that would love to join the other
ladies in my wardrobe, thank you karl!
