Christopher Bailey has well and truly breathed new life into
the fashion house of burberry despite its iconic identity he
emerges with innovative and progressive interpretations - it
becomes such a relief to look at these collections and realise
Bailey avoids the traditional plaid which has become the
identity of this company especially in the leather goods, these
menswear pieces have much more substance to the typically
branded pieces.

Christopher Bailey's creates a collection where each singular
pieces manifests details and craftsmanship that is progressive
in his own design aesthetic and the house of Burberry. Perhaps
one of my favourite collections from Bailey to date from the
colours; the beads; the patterns; the embelishments where does
one start and end, an exciting direction for Bailey.

Bailey's resort collection for men was playful with its
colourful geometric patterns with perhaps a tribal
influence in both colour and graphics. It represents an
incredibly unique and pracitcal direction for mens
fashion. The colour palette is simply flawless!

How can one not admire this colour palette developed
by Christopher Bailey for his fall collection at burberry, it
is neutral and functional. The design of the bag is classic
and simply adorned with tassles. Elegant!

Christopher Bailey's clutch purses for Burberry are a
wonderful compliment to the ready to wear pieces
they use a range of colours that coordinate well with
the bright overtones in the collection. I particularly
enjoy the three dimensional layering of stripes in the
leather, very effective

Christopher Bailey's fall collection for burberry was a
remarkable manipulation of the coat where we saw the
restructuring of the slim coat- he changes its volume in
the sleeve and body displaying a unique scale in
proportions. Unlike previous fall collections Bailey also
plays with more vibrant colours of chartreuses, oranges
and yellows with oversized plaid and tweed textures.

christopher bailey's resort collection takes inspiration from britain's vintage military uniforms both in detail and colour palette. the womenswear collection is consistent with bailey's work for burberry with gathered silk dresses and military trenches. we can look forward to the new figure hugging pants and boots
