best of stella mccartney resort 2012 collection times three

images courtesy of http://www.style.com/ and stella mccartney
Stella continues to present trend breaking resort collections, how
can one forget last years resort collection with those amazing botanical
printed silk pieces and the colourful silk suit ensembles. This year
is becomes a sister of that brilliant collections with more tropical prints,
and silk blazers. My favourite pieces however are the playful stripes and
the houndstooth- I'm a sucker for a large houndstooth!

best of christopher bailey for burberry prorsum resort 2012 collection times three

Christopher Bailey's creates a collection where each singular
pieces manifests details and craftsmanship that is progressive
in his own design aesthetic and the house of Burberry. Perhaps
one of my favourite collections from Bailey to date from the
colours; the beads; the patterns; the embelishments where does
one start and end, an exciting direction for Bailey.

best of chris benz resort 2012 collection times three

I'm not sure if I am drawn to the photography, colours or the
stripes or just all of the above. Benz presents an exuberant
collection where stripes are clashed with prints in an
exquisite palette of colours.

best of proenza schouler fall 2011 collection times three

images courtesy of gorunway and http://www.vogue.com.au/

Proenza Schouler's Jack and Larry have left me speechless
with this collection- it is a progressive approach that demonstrates
their sheer talent and extrodinary attention to detail. The craftsmanship
alone is worthy of much praise, the woven details of the pants represent
a quality uncomparable. Yes I know I am giving them much praise but it
is well due. The collection explores aztec prints but with a contemporary
approach using digital prints to manipulate them. The colours are
incredibly relevant to the aztec theme and are exquistely blocked and
matched. This is guranteed to be my favourite collection for Fall 2011.
