best of christopher bailey for burberry prosum menswear fall 2012 bags times three

Christopher Bailey has well and truly breathed new life into
the fashion house of burberry despite its iconic identity he
emerges with innovative and progressive interpretations - it
becomes such a relief to look at these collections and realise
Bailey avoids the traditional plaid which has become the
identity of this company especially in the leather goods, these
menswear pieces have much more substance to the typically
branded pieces.

best of tomas maier for bottega veneta fall 2012 collection times three

Maier has reinvented the wheel for the classic suit jacket by
venturing into territory that the house of bottega veneta would
generally avoid.... graphics! He cleverly integrages colour
and geometry to adorn the suit in a rather innovative way.

best of sarah burton for alexander mcqueen fall 2012 collection times three

Sarah Burton takes a historical 19th century tailoring approach to this
elegant menswear collection, her contemporary twist to these pieces are
practical and functional, from the gradient fades on the mens blazers to the
patch pockets on a simple double breasted jacket, not to mention the
worn leather on the shoes. This maybe the most wearable collection from
the house of Mcqueen to date, is she taking the house into safe waters?
I would prefer to see Burton take her brave approach on womenswear and
use that same vigour on the menswear.

best of acne fall 2012 collection times three

Jonny Johansson's most recent collections had explored colour and
a liberal application of leather, in his current menswear fall collection
he replaces these luxury materials with the very economic faux leather-
a response to the current economic climate and perhaps the previous
season sales considering the majority of the collection was leather. In
my opinion though the strength of this collection relies solely on the
clever colour schemes and layering of textures, Johannsson can barely
be faulted on his styling and visual presentation of his collections.
