best of thakoon pre-fall 2011 collection times three

Red, black and white.... yes givenchy did that last
winter but thakoon takes on bold and minimal
graphics and texture rather than tisci's alpine snowflake
prints and pattern's that channel martin margiela and
helmut lang (whose presence I will both truly miss)
An austere collection!

best of pringle of scotland's pre-fall 2011 collection times three

How can anyone resist pringle's luxurious cashmere
particularly when it is inspired by the 60's, from
structured a-line skirts and tunics to soft funnel neck
knits all a staple in any woman's wardrobe. Beige
never looked so good.

best of jason wu pre-fall 2011 collection times three

Jason Wu's second pre-fall collection is a tease, with
subtle art-deco references, exciting shapes and
colours the fall collection will surely be a hit. The
salmon's and violet's are a reoccuring colour block
in this collection and rightfully so especially when
teamed with mushroom greys. The colour mixing
and stripes are enough to make marc jacobs shake
in his boots.

best of elie tahari pre-fall 2011 collection times three

Elie Tahari has produced a practical and refined
pre-fall collection with a colour palette that reflects
the spring/summer 70's palette of marc jacobs,
antonio marras and celine. The cuts are minimal and
some bold particularly those tiny shorts. What I
need to get my hands into are those two toned
leather gloves please.

best of diane von furstenberg pre-fall 2011 collection times three

Well colour me mustard, burgundy, aqua and
green! Diane von furstenberg is colour blocking.
This collection has been inspired by 1970's
american sportswear and what a refreshing
change to the florals and patterns we have
grown accustomed to from Furstenberg. The
collection is refined and restrained yet bold.

best of karl lagerfield for chanel pre-fall 2011 collection times three

where does one start with this extrodinary collection,
hang onto your purses ladies this is going to be a
bumpy ride! Lagerfield has evolved the spring/summer
colour palette from the monochromatic and metallic into
deep hues with exotic byzantine embelishments. A
unique collection for chanel especially considering I can
find numerous pieces that would love to join the other
ladies in my wardrobe, thank you karl!

best of karl lagerfield for chanel menswear pre-fall 2011 collection times three

How can one fault a menswear collection such as
this, karl lagerfield has suprisingly minimised any
application of his byzantine detailing actually there
is no sign of it in comparison to his womens
collection. The colour palette is very much the
key to this mens collection they are sophisticated
and subtle I am especially keen on the deep teal hues.

with traditional african tribal dress and costume, the

best orla kiely autumn/winter 2010 collection times three

orla kiely is a london based fashion designer who
was originally commissioned by harrods to design
a range of hats and the label soon included a range
of accessories and well it has since blossomed into
a sixties influenced fashion label. kiely's autumn/
winter collection is simple and bold with babydoll
cuts and details, what appeals to me though is the
colour pallette mustard yellows and peachy oranges.

best of tina kalivas spring/summer 2010 collection

spring summer 2010 'hive mind'
a play on pixel geometries and their colours, cuts and forms.
A clever combination considering the typical play with pixel
geometries don't go beyond the fabric's print, however
kalivas takes it into the next dimension.

best of isson spring/summer 2010 sunglasses times three

Isson designer Catherine Federici first collection through eye candy optics, the collection is called 'moonstruck menagerie' and it "intends to polarise, unshamedely forging a distinct line between fashion trends and the anomalous individual's adapting of one Isson's characters to their own"
