best of sarah burton for alexander mcqueen fall 2011 collection times three

Since Sarah Burton's appointment as creative director
at mcqueen she has maintained the legacy, aesthetic
and extrodinary craftsmanship which gave fame to the
house. These garments conceptually appear to be
segmented and reassembed contrasting the soft textures
with defined shapes, all composed with organzas, furs,
silks and wools all within a single garment.

best of marni fall 2011 collection times three

There is no doubting it that I am a loyal fan of Counselo
Castiglioni's Marni - it is a collection I often look forward
to, particularly the accesories. In this colleciton we saw
the exploration of  morrocan style tessalated patterns and
of course the gorgeous and vibrant colours to be expected
from Marni. Personally I am not a fan of fur and I know we
have seen alot of fur this season but I believe Marni has
executed this best, particularly the coat in the centre- the
colour block of the emerald green and soft brown is a clever
infusion of colour that is elegantly timeless.

best of gucci fall 2011 collection times three

Giannini takes us back to the 70's with her pussy bow
blouses, wide leg trousers,  and furs. There is a strong
presence of deep hues of purple, teal and navy blues.
I particluarly enjoy the wide brim hats, a winter must
have.

best of natalie rae richardson 2010 debut collection times three

natalie rae richardson is a recent graduate from
london fashion college, this being her debut
collection and an incredibly promising career in
the horizon. the collection is all exquisitely
embroidered to mimic furs and cow hides, who
needs fur when detailing like this is far more
luxurious. A creative imagination that leaves us
all on the edge of our seats for the next collection.

best of nicole bradshaw's 2010 collection times three

nicole bradshaw is a 2010 kingston university graduate
with her final collection proving to be incredibly promising,
she has been inspired by textures, tones and colours and
aspires to create for women as 'second skin'. bradshaw
explores a range of materials in this collection from lurex,
silicone, mohair and fur. I'm sure all the boutiques are
awaiting this young designers next collection.
